In 2020, out of a desire to equip passionate leaders with the tools necessary to successfully navigate the educational terrain, BCS was created.
An accomplished instructional leader with over 20 years of experience, Dr. Shirley E. Brown has worked for both public and charter schools where she has yielded positive results in student growth. Dr. Shirley E. Brown's work is grounded in researched based best practices that drives a culture of excellence. Dr. Shirley E. Brown was a member of the Curriculum Council and Michigan Continuous School Improvement Committee for the Michigan Department of Education. As a committed and successful high school administrator and instructional leader, Dr. Shirley E. Brown looks to advance her career in the education sector. Her goal is to create a cutting-edge organization that aims to transform schools that reflect diversity, equity and inclusion.
